actually, you are more correct than you know.
there's this thing called delirium tremens. sudden stopping of alcohol usage can lead to confusion, seizure, or death.

I could share all the ridiculous Coronavirus drama I know, but 90% of it is silly drama; we know one person with it. . . problem is, they work at a nursing home! :What: They are quarantined though, so I'm glad smart people are doing the right things. . . hopefully they did those right things soon enough.

When I was in the hospital there was a guy in the room with me that was an alchoholic and they used to give him a beer everday because he would get the dt's.
