I totally miss it and snowboarding just makes me miss it more!

So yeah, work situation kinda rocks right now. cool group of very smart people!

i genuinely wonder how many people who stocked up on TP are following basic hand hygiene. Judging by my time spent in a handful of airport washrooms recently, people don’t GAF.

Like most of you, I’m not concerned about myself but people who are vulnerable. The new gig is in public health sooooo no working home for me.

The TP nonsense is beyond me. I just don't get it. I am mildly concerned though with the sudden influx of people buying hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes. Wtf were you doing before? As a germaphobe, over excessive use of hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes is what I do, so fortunately we won't have a shortage at home unless this goes on for a year.

Be safe at the new gig, C.

Thanks.

I’m feeling a little irked at a friend of mine. She’s been in the US doing some training for her job. She’s back tomorrow and it seems as though she’s not going to self isolate. I get it - she wants a paycheque but I couldn’t live with myself if I brought the virus to my community and anyone died because of it.

No she was in AZ.

In other virus news….There's a rumour going around town that M has COVID-19 so he's getting a lot of cancellations He *was* at a conference last weekend (along with 15k others) and apparently a guy who was there for 2 hours has been diagnosed. M was 1km away from him at the time, but people just don't seem to be thinking rationally.

NYC schools just closed down for at least a month, possibly until the end of the year.

That's wild! These are times when I appreciate living in a small northern town.
