I'm so sorry it's sucking for you. This will be the first time a dear friend of mine won't be with her family for Christmas. Because she lives alone, she can be part of our "bubble" so we're having her over for Christmas and anything Christmassy we're doing. Many years I've been indifferent about the season but this year it feels more important because so many people are isolated.

Vaccine rollout starts in BC next week, going to LTC homes and front line health care workers first. General public will supposedly start having access in April. Guess we'll see what happens in the smaller communities.

The vaccine will be in short supply here in the states, so it will be late 2021 before we get all the people we need to vaccinate. So we will have 3k or more die a day for the next 3 to 4 months. Hopefully my wife can get her vaccine in the next month or so, I'll have to wait till they get it out to us old ones.

Learned last night from my Aunt that her son has tested positive he works at a Home Depot and is exposed to many people daily.
He has had some health issues in the past so I am VERY HOPEFUL he gets thru this ok

I went out today for the first time in a while. Hit up a several of the stores in the area.. Face pants etc. Hopefully I bought enough food to last a couple of weeks. It still surprises me that Seattle is closer to So Cal yet produce is cheaper in the suburbs of NYC than the suburbs of SEA. Same thing goes for protein. in .NJ $4.50 for a rib roast King County $11.99. I may go out one more time before Christmas to get a nice roast or something but I am on the fence about that. I just don't want turkey for a while.
