I think when we look into American culture, we see things in a much less secular way Jack.

Why is that anyway? I'm really curious. What is it that they see that I don't (keep in mind I'm a foreigner, so I probably see certain things from a different perspective).

They think that alliances and diplomacy are less appropriate than force.
Now, I don't think that ALL Bush supporters feel this way, just a disturbing number of them.
Most Bush supporters are reasonable people with legitimate philosophical differences with the Democratic party and their candidate. My issue isn't with these people at all. I don't really care that people support Bush or Kerry or whoever.
My concern is with people that actually feel that the Bush administration has done the right thing in the way that they invaded Iraq and what we've done since we "won" the war.

What do you mean "less secular" Rich? Do you mean "more Christian"? Seriously... I don't understand.

The UK, in general, is far less worried about people's religious beliefs than Amercia appears to be.

John, I would assume that he means less religious, rather than more Christian.
