John, I would assume that he means less religious, rather than more Christian.
The UK, in general, is far less worried about people's religious beliefs than Amercia appears to be.

You might be right. I'm a foreigner here and as secular as the US tries to be in many ways, it's far more oriented to Christianity than where I come from. I didn't say it's more religious... just more *oriented* to religion.
So you could be right.
I was a little confused by what Rich said as well. Do you mean more secular? Or perhaps you're just being sarcastic and we totally missed the point.
Brant,
Essentially, are you saying that they don't see Bush doing anything wrong because they think the US is the biggest, baddest country in the world, and they can do whatever they want, just because they can? I've thought about that too.
The problem is that that seems to me like a very immature way of thinking. If it's a small minority of people thinking that way, I can understand. But even if just half of the Bush supporters are supporting him for that reason, that's a quarter of the population of the United States. That's *very* disturbing...
As for the rest of them, I just can't imagine supporting Bush because they don't like Kerry. Not after all that he's done, and not especially, since he has not (to the best of my knowledge) admitted to doing anything wrong, let alone come up with ways to remedy the situation.
Personally, I see the U.S. with Bush at the helm is a much bigger threat to the world than Iraq ever could be.

It's always men that start wars cause they want a chick they can't have or natural ressources OR they can't live with the fact that there are people out there with different beliefs.
Everybody can believe in what or whom they want to as long as it doesn't affect anybody else. But especially with religion it sooner or later does.
And in the end ya'll blame the women for it
