I hear ya on the overload lately
I think a few things I see that don't necessarily agree with due to MY AGE are the kids that seem to be looking for attention basically or approval from people that they may have never met seems odd to me butt again thats just me.

I don't think my other half could do the hermit thing butt can I come with you two? J / K


Yeah my mouth goes off in here more than most feel is necessary so I probably have no place to speak

I just think some get a lil overboard posting 's of stuff they do.

Oh & i joined Insta for that LG up there that was irritated by the adds more an artsy dealio although I do share SOME not EVERY family event etc....

I'm only a year older and am in a similar headspace. I feel like more and more I'm retreating from technology (except s2ki obviously :P ). I love where I live (30 acres that border on a river with world class salmon fishing...not that I fish ) and would be verrrrrrrrrrrry hard pressed to move back into town.
....Although I also heard the young folk are now saying facebook is for old people.

I agree that some people post stuff to make themselves feel better or to put across a certain image about themselves. Kinda sad - why can't they get positive messages from loved ones about things that really matter?

& the WORST PART IMO is that some alter and or change things to make a situation what they want you to see
