FACT Elvis hated the smell and the taste of fish. He would not allow anyone near him with a fish-cooked or raw. Fish was completely banned from Graceland, but one aquatic animal he did love was his pet turtle, Bowtie.

I think this is fact...but I might be confusing that with another country.

I know people claim it used to be in China, but I'm not sure that it was ever the case, and I don't think it is now. Money is money.

Tipping is only really common in the US and countries that border the US, because we're idiots that like to make things complicated. But that doesn't mean it's *rude* elsewhere, it's just not expected/demanded like it is here. Koreans don't tip, and they can get confused if you refuse change or whatever to give them a little extra, but they don't get offended.
