John, have you used rdesktop on Linux? Works great (latest versions, anyway)... It's on sourceforge.

Definitely pick up the latest, John. It really works well. Earlier versions were dicey and had problems with cut/paste. Before I changed jobs and started working with Windows again, I was definitely happy with rdesktop on my Linux box. I got rid of the monitor/keyboard on my Windows box.
