Do you work for LMT? I thought you work for Northrop Grumman for some reason.

Basically, Yes... actually it's STOVL (Short Take-Off/ Vertical Landing)

We beat out Boeing's X-32 which I'm sorry to say, looked ridiculous.

We built 2 models of X-35:
The 'A' which was for the Air Force, and the 'C' which had a beefed up undercarriage , wider wingspan and was carrier capable for the Navy. After flight tests were concluded on the 'A' model, it was modified to a 'B' model for the Marine Corps. This involved the installation of a massive shaft-driven lift fan and actuating doors in the center fuselage that would provide enough thrust for near-vertcal take-offs and vertical landings. I saw the actual 'C' model when I was in XXXXXXXX, and it was quite impressive.

I feel ya, WSB. When I was trying to book flights for myself and my family to Europe, I'd search on openjet.com. I'd find a pretty good rate, but as soon as I click the link to show the info, it says the flight had already been taken! In the 10-15sec it took to read the page, then click the link for the next, somebody had already taken the last spot!

It happened no less than 5 times to me!

You can book a flight for a reasonable fare to XXXXXXXXX, but you better hurry, the holidays are fast-approaching!

You're right about the Boeing. I don't mean to pick on them, but the damn thing looks like it's saying " DDDDUUURRRRRRHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

Maybe that was the point? Imagine you're in a MiG, and you're about to engage in a dogfight with the Boeing. You get a closer look at the Boeing and laugh your ass off, while the Boeing shoots you out of the sky.
