Frozen Costco pepperoni pizza; I know it's horrible because I'm a chef by trade. I will quote Anthony Bourdain on this, "At the end of the night after being on your feet in a hot kitchen all you want to eat is something tasty that you didn't have to cook" . These words couldn't be more true because I live it

I know a friend who owned the best Italian restaurant in our town. He made great gourmet pizzas and he lived above his restaurant so he could cook and eat any time he wanted. Some weekends he would go out to bars and on the way home he would stop at a horrible fast food pizza joint and take a large pizza home to scarf it down. We could never figure it out but what you said makes sense now.

I rarely cook on my days off because I usually bring food home with me from the restaurant so I can reheat & eat. Now if my family or friends ask me to cook I am always more then willing to because that is where I get most joy from being in a kitchen.

I just ate ravioli (not from a can) bathed in butter, garlic, pepper and romano/parmesan cheese and a slice of pizza and some spinach.
