WestJet uses the Ryanair model but less effectively. I'm not sure they're any better than Air Canada.

So far their customer service has been infinitely better than the crap I've gotten from Air Canada. I actually had a telephone agent laugh at me and tell me she can't help me. When I told her that wasn't very helpful she didn't apologize or even attempt to come to a solution with me. There are certainly things I don't like about WestJet, but so far they haven't mocked me, so...

I just bought a replacement elbow rest for Suzy. Probably won't install it until the spring though.
