it get nice and soft and the cheese melts.. but you have to eat it in under 5 minutes, or the bread gets hard

Well, oven reheat (as I mentioned to George) often seems to leave the crust too hard... Maybe there's some technique there? Sometimes we use a pizza stone, sometimes we just throw it in there with the tin foil...
