Beaner, you rotate the tires side-to-side?
umm.. yea i think so... since i always end up buying directionals..

[] [] <--- i jus put these in the back..

[] [] <--- i flip these two (dismount/mount) and put em in the front

do that every 6-8 months or so... and they seem to last quite awhile.. and yes.. i do drive hard on turns and so on...

I assume you're not talking about your S2000, Bean... The front-to-back rotation you're talking about isn't possible on our car because we have staggered sizes (wider rear than front)

oh ya.. haha.. thats what i just did on my gf's car (civic).. haha.. i jus flip em on the S.. left to right cuz it eats away on the insides more for me... don't think its a camber issue... cuz i aligned the camber/toe to stock specs after lowering it...

Isn't it kind of dangerous in the rain to have you tires on backwards?

If you put your left wheel on the right side of the car, wouldn't the threads be forcing water towards the center of the wheel?

Or do you remove the tires from the wheel?

Actually, after re-reading everything you posted, I'm thinking it's the latter. I really know what I'm talking about, can't you tell?

you mean you have the tires remounted on opposite sides right? If not, I don't think it helps the wear issue and . . . . yes the tires are directional for wet traction purposes.
