Selling My S? .....maybe........

I don't know who things work in the US, but I was in boatloads of credit card debt before I left the UK, and I went to the bank and got them to consolidate the whole debt into a single loan. This reduced the interest rate considerably, and also allowed me to cut up the credit cards, meaning that I couldn't start adding to the debt once I had paid some off. This helped me get my debt back under control and paid off over a much shorter period than I would have been able to if I had carried on using the credit cards ..... just a thought ....
To the idea that the S satisfies and thrill every time you hit the red button... well of course! It's a gorgeous car. It's not about whether it's fun and appealing, it's about affording it.
I agree with Chazmo that it's a great idea to use your income to establish your financial solidity at a young age and spend it once that's done.
No... not fun or sexy but smart.

I've used this tactic before too. I had a lot of debt building (not over $10K) and consolidated it into one loan. My problem had more to do with low income than extreme spending.
