So, I was watching an upscaled DVD yesterday. I was impressed. Not blown away, but impressed.

Upscaling definitely does not justify you re-purchasing all of your favorites on HD-format-of-the-week.

There are very few titles that I'll repurchase anytime soon. Currently just filling holes in my library. I slowed down DVD purchases several years ago knowing I'd be making the jump to HD when it was more viable. Those that I've repurchased thus far are visually compelling movies. Amazon runs two for one specials and I've expanded my library extensively. I'm also more impressed with BluRay than HD-DVD.

Both pictures are great. It's the HD-DVD hardware/software that I'm not satisfied with. :buggy:
