The Penguins are coming to Anaheim a week from Monday!!!
I've got to tell you, I'm pretty excited about that game!!!
I'll probably get there early just watch the pre game skate & warm up!!!

I really hope the NHL figures out that the current schedule format stinks. 82 games should leave plenty of time to play everyone home and away.

They are revamping the schedule for next season to accomodate that. Everyone in the league, the broadcasters, and the viewers have bitched about it since its inception last year... good for them, so have I. It's ridiculous that some teams visit other cities once every 3 years.

I would do:
Play every team twice - once in your city, once in theirs (58 games)
Play everyone in your Conference an third time (14 games)
Play everyone in your division a fourth and fifth time (8 games)
58 + 14 + 8 = 80 games
(the other 2 games can be filled in however... probably divisional)

I've waited two years to see the Leafs in San Jose. I'll have to wait anther year at least. The Sharks don't even play the Leafs this year.

They did last year in TO and the year before ('04) in San Jose. I was there... it was awesome. More Leafs jerseys than Sharks. The (real) Shark fans loved it; having the Tank filled with real hockey fans.
