It may not work, while the ceilings are high, the garage itself is pretty small, something common on newer constructions.
Truck won't fit now that the utility sink and cabinets are in. Trying to build a separate 3 car unit with living and storage space in it. One bay will have a lift for sure.
My last house was 1500 sq ft living space w/500 sq ft garage on a 5,000 sq ft lot. Now selling for 450K+ in a crappy neighborhood. Commute was better than my current one but now I have 2+ acres, 2500+ sq ft living space, 1200 SQ ft basement, 2 car garage and pool. It may not appreciate as fast but I'll be living here awhile so I don't really care, it's more about my comfort than the investment.
I just read an email from my agent. It's the husband that doesn't want to budge on the pricing, not the wife/agent. I guess she knows better. Men, what a bunch of idiots.
