If not, you were not destined to live there.

A house like any of the above would go for between $800K and $900K easy in my neighborhood....

My house is 1956 sq ft
4 bedroom/ 3 bath
only 4000 sq ft lot

$1 million for it...

It's fun, but frankly I just want to get it over with. I'm pretty picky. Of the 20 houses I've looked at, only 2 I could see myself living in. One of them was perfect except I couldn't get my S2000 in the driveway without scraping and now this one which has overly ambitious sellers. Some people like the whole bargaining/haggling process; not me. I hate it. So I'll be happy as soon as it's all over.

It may not work, while the ceilings are high, the garage itself is pretty small, something common on newer constructions.
Tell me about it. My garage has 12 ft ceilings but inside dimensions are less than 20x20 and steps leading to house taking some of that. Fortunately two fairly small cars in it.

Truck won't fit now that the utility sink and cabinets are in. Trying to build a separate 3 car unit with living and storage space in it. One bay will have a lift for sure.

My last house was 1500 sq ft living space w/500 sq ft garage on a 5,000 sq ft lot. Now selling for 450K+ in a crappy neighborhood. Commute was better than my current one but now I have 2+ acres, 2500+ sq ft living space, 1200 SQ ft basement, 2 car garage and pool. It may not appreciate as fast but I'll be living here awhile so I don't really care, it's more about my comfort than the investment.

I just read an email from my agent. It's the husband that doesn't want to budge on the pricing, not the wife/agent. I guess she knows better. Men, what a bunch of idiots.
