Well I think there is a Marysville in CA, but I don't know of anywhere in CA where you can buy a decent home under 300k. I just got a call from my agent, the owners of home #1 want a full price offer with nothing for closing. We asked for $4k off the price and $6k towards closing. I told my agent I would be willing to meet in the middle somewhere. If they won't budge, I'm walking away.

It's not the perfect house, but I've come to the conclusion I will never find the "perfect" house. This one is pretty close though. The only gripes I have are the paint, carpet and now the money owners.
