If your car is running hot, it's either because you put your thermostat in backwards (or you're missing one), your cooling system isn't holding pressure (replace your radiator cap), or you have a bad coolant mixture.
That's really all there is too it. That 125F engine bay doesn't affect a damn thing except how hot your intake charge is. Buy a CAI and problem solved.
