ㄴ = n "name"
ㄷ = t(d) "toy or day"
ㄹ = r(l) "rain or lily"
ㅁ = m "mother"
ㅂ = p(b) "pin or book"
ㅅ = s "speech"
ㅇ = ng "king" (or silent if before the vowel)
ㅈ = ch(j) "john"
ㅊ = ch' "church"
ㅋ = k' "kite"
ㅌ = t' "tank"
ㅍ = p' "pump"
ㅎ = h "high"

I don't like "i" because it's ambiguous how to pronounce it. No one mispronounces "ee" but they mispronounce "i"
