Wasn't the husband offered $1M from some millionaire in california to walk away?

It has been 15 years and no progress. I would not expect her to get better. Who is paying for the medical bills? why was there a lawsuit? who was at fault? she had heart failure and someone misdiagnosed it? would hate to be that guy..... think of the guilt with all this national publicity.....

Are there lots of other "Terri's" out there in america? I would imagine there are lots of people similar to her living through the country? Do you pull the plug on the rest of them?

Yes there are. This is what I've referred to above (happens every day in America).

Pulling the plug is a difficult decision that a family sometimes has to struggle with. I hope to avoid their angst by saying in a living will "This is what I want", but it happens all the time. Many times a day.

First off, I don't agree with the Feds getting involved.....

Ok, but I do agree its allll about the money with this guy.

This man was awarded almost a million dollars, which was supposed to be spent on her medical care. So what has it actually been spent on?
Atty Gwyneth Stanley $10,668.05
Atty Deborah Bushnell $65,607.00
Atty George Felos $397,249.99
1st Union/South Trust Bank $55,459.85
Scumbag Schaivo $10,929.95

He's spent more money trying to kill her then he has trying to save her.
He spent five hundred thousand dollars of her money on lawyers, while denying her any medical care or therapy at all.

He denied money to have her teeth cleaned, but will pay to have 5 teeth pulled.

They must be good lawyers though, every court he's been to agrees with him.

Look at the timeline of events and draw your own conclusions.

1990 FEB: She collapses.

1992 AUG/NOV: Combined malpractice awards of 2.5 million dollars. Not sure how much this was reduced by courts, but the money is for her medical care.

1993 FEB: He stops her rehabilitation and stops giving her parents her medical information.

1993 AUG: He "declines" to treat her UTI, nearly killing her. She was only treated after the facility she was in refused to keep her unless he treated her. He moved her out of that facility.

1994 APRL: He moves her to a nursing home.

It took him less than a year to go from winning a shitload of money intended to be used to treat her to trying to "Let her die" by denying her treatment.
