Mystic, CT is a nice little town.

<--- Visted there a few times while going through submarine training at the New London Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT.

Today I learned the Tire Rack's Nevada warehouse doesn't have Michelin X-Ice snow and ice tires in 185/75 R 14. I would need to pay an additional $21 in shipping to get if from there Illinois warehouse.

try $600/wk. Yep, that's not a typo. Approximately $200/week/child . And the real pisser is that I get taxed on that money, not the ex, and I don't get to claim the kids
I know kids are expensive, but isn't $200 per kid a week a bit excessive?

In many states, it doesn't matter what the number is, it's just a percentage of the father's (never the mother's) income. Wisconsin is one of the worst states for this (I would never get married in WI). I knew a few guys who made 1/2 or less than their wife and still had to pay child support, even though their kids lived with them. My uncle payed something like $250/week in child support for my cousin (one kid) to his ex-wife, whose mom was very wealthy and even after she (ex-wife) got engaged to a multi-millionaire, and despite my cousin never having lived with his mom. Such a good system.

Today I learned that my favorite British hottie is a little bitter about her dad. Sorry about that, Soaps... Unfortunately, some (actually, lots of) people really were never cut out to be parents.

My mom and dad stayed together for 43 years. In the end, I can't decide if that was really the right thing for either of them.

:hugs:
