Luke,

(oink), you got -02s too, right? Can't remember. Just wondering if anyone snagged the -03s and what their opinion was.

Personally, I love the stock -02s, I just know from everyone's experience that they won't last very long.

John,

Good luck with the TSB work. Keep us posted.

I'm on my second set of SO2s since I bought the car in March! Love'em.

Luke - what kind of cold-idle problems are you having? Mine wants to stall immediately after the first start, but if I catch it with just a little throttle, it idles just fine.

Same here.....it didn't used to do that. I've also noticed that the idle drops for a few seconds below typical idle when AC is on. Normal?

Exactly the same mine does. It just doesn't bother me enough to do anything yet - plus I'll be doing the valves in the next week or so. I've had a couple of cars that would do similar things; no codes could ever be found. Even our racing Talon (custom harness and ECU's built by me) had a ghost in some of the ECU's - it'd sit and idle perfectly, then just  miss one or two firings - completely random. Never a problem on throttle or track, just at idle.

Yeah......but to the point your worried your engine might die? A little drop I wouldn't worry about, but it drops to about 400 rpms...the car normaly idles at 1000 rpms.

Someone lightly hit my rear bumper when my car was parked. No paint mark, but there is a 1 inch by 1/8th inch and 1/16th deep crease in the right corner of the rear bumper. You can only see it from 2 feet away at some angles when it is not too bright outside. When it is sunny, you almost cannot see it. It is a very minor thing (I cannot even capture it on camera), but I have been trying very hard to keep this car "perfect".

After that, I am not as crazy about keeping my car "perfect". I dont spend as much time on it as before.

It is so true, I second that, no matter how well you take care of your car, it only takes one asshole to ruin it.
