My last car was a 2000 Accord Coupe EX-V6. It got hit while parked twice! Once was my bro the second week I had it. The other was a lady in a parking garage who left her card thank goodness! Another time, my friend was driving it to his brothers graduation while on leave and hit a deer with it. I took good care of it, but when it left my sight, bad things happened.

That's more of a drop on A/C than I get, Luke. Let me know if they find anything.

Oink!

I'lll have to try. I've never noticed a drop... of course I don't run AC a lot.

My tranny work will be done tomorrow. I'm also having them resurface the pressure plate. Couple of hot-spots. Hmmmm.

A while back, my S would intermittently miss at speed. At first it was very infrequent, then it got more and more common. Really started to piss me off. I kept having my mechanic test drive and, of course, it worked just fine each time. Finally it became continuous, I posted about it on the board, and some kind soul (I wish I had gotten his name so I could have thanked him) posted "MAP Sensor, been there, done that." Sure enough, that was the problem, something about mass air flow.

That could be "airflow in Mass," Raptor! Today, it feels wonderfully cool and light

oink... BTW, I think the MAP sensor measures pressure in the engine's intake manifold. So, either you might be starving the engine for air or shoving it in. If the sensor itself is bad, it might confuse the engine control computer and it'd overcompensate in the fuel/air mixture.

How's that for some SERIOUS !

BTW, don't trust a word I say!
