wickster, a c32b, NA with reasonable mods, could be 400+ crank hp NA. now FI and you're talking about 600+ at the flywheel.

properly done, and the possibilities are endless.

a 2.0 I4 can only take you so far, esp. if you wanna stay NA


if you were going for track monster, i'd just lightly mod the engine (flywheel, cams, valvetrain, fuel system, ignition), then slap on some hardcore suspension, brakes, wheel/tire, etc.

thats sort of the route I'm taking. as you know, I'm getting the toda cams and valve springs. I've got a computer picked out. I will do an Alaniz valve job, whether or not the head porting shows power, if it does I'll do that. I will put in an exedy clutch this summer. I'm putting on the ce28's you know 11 lbs each. Sherwin's wilwood brakes 20 lbs less right there (I'll be losing 30lbs unsprung weight on the front ) for now the suspension is just going to be kg/mm springs and some sway bars..... Koni's will follow later.... among other things I'm sure.

It'll be a nice tight car. And I may stroke the motor. I don't think the drawbacks of doing so will stop me. It would be cool to crack 300 whp all motor, though. It wouldn't be the most powerful, but that would be a respectable, cool feat. And fun.
