Great weekend here, too. Went to the Hot Wheels Cool Nights car show in Pontiac on Saturday. Not much in the way of cars - a lot of riceboys. The show is a three day affair, with each day focusing on something different. Next year I'm going on Friday, because that's when the antiques, etc. are shown. Saturday is imports and exotics, and Sunday is American Muscle. Michael Kollins was there signing models of the Hot Wheels Twin Mill, which was the first in-house HW design. WildThang ponied up the cash to buy me one of the 1:24 scale die-cast models with MK's signature. What a sweetie

Chazmo, you gotta get into VTEC in your lower gears! That's when it's really noticeable and the most fun (and safer than blasting 100+ around on the highways). James!And WOW, 9 grand in those low gears... I'll have to try that now folks. I'm starting to definitely feel more comfortable in the car.

I tell you what Charlie..... a big PITA in Tokyo is mopeds and motorbikes coming up your inside at traffic lights and then getting in the way once the lights change......
You can pull away from a set of lights, get past the bike and at the next set, bang, they are in you way again......
If, on the other hand, you take it up to 9k as you pull away from the lights, leaving most of the riders coughing from the dust you have thrown up, they seem, for some strange reason, to stay behind me at the next set of lights!!!!!
