You, James, are a very, very bad boy!

I have a very strong visual of you at the lights. Excellent!

Remind me never to ride a moped in Tokyo!

If a car is designed to have good acceleration, don't you think it is your duty to use it ?!?!?!

Mopeds are a pet hate of mine, especially after you overtake a load of the fockers and then they all swarm in front of you at the lights !!!!! ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!

A right AND a duty, James. I'm gettin' there! I'm just pretty sure that my local police won't really like me slamming 9 grand on our roads around my little town. Maybe I'll start probing my limits

So, you're kinda like a can of Raid blasting a hornets' nest. I could definitely see the frustration...

Well, time to sign off (actually, that should've been hours ago). Take it easy!

Hmmm, I get the opposite reaction from Ms. WildThang ™. She just shakes her head in disgust if I don't VTEC at least in 1st and 2nd. I'm finding the real trick is to shift just as the rev limiter kicks, but it takes practice to get it right - too long and the fuel shut off takes too long to come off, so you lose power in the next gear. But if you get it just right, it reduces the load on the lower gear, and *pow* you're into the next, much like a good shift kit on a drag bike

Exactly, Luke. I'm picturing James with a $**t-eating grin on his face as he smokes these guys at the light. You gotta' love it. It's a good thing he's driving a Japanese car or they might deport him!

Hey Martin, definitely nice to have a babe who shares your interests. My wife has no great affinity for fast cars, science fiction, or late nights on-line, BUT we usually agree on important things like what things go in our house or how we should deal with a sick or naughty child. In the long run, that's what you and WildThang have to find out about each other.

I really hope the intense affection you guys have lasts a lifetime; I will tell you that having kids makes it very, very hard to keep the love affair going. If you go that route, make sure you leave some time for the two of you together and keep the car thing going.

lmao @ Chaz

I'm 37, have 3 of my own, Ms. WildThang is 31, has one of her own, we don't need any more little feet. Throw in the mix the odd cat and ferrets, and it's a zoo. A good zoo, though

That's great, Martin. Sorry if I was being pedantic, BTW, these days I feel like everyone is younger than I. 40's staring me right in the friggin' face

Life is fast, but the S2000 is faster!

I think I'm gonna try slamming up to redline in low gear pretty soon. To be totally honest, I'm not sure I'm up to it yet!
