Anyone with 4.77's in central Pa?? Trying to decide whether or not to invest in this upgrade.. Looking for a ride or maybe a few highway pulls to see how this mod compares to stock... Anyone out there??

ive heard the 4.77 are for ap1 and are too short for the ap2 gearbox. The gears in the ap2 are shorter for 1st thru 4th than the ap1 gearbox.
Where does Science of Speed recommend 4.77 for the ap2?
According to the chart in the 3rd or so post:

top speed in 1st gear would be 31 mph. i think in my old AP1 top speed was 45+ (ap1 redline also affects this). 31 is way too short, you'll be in vtec by like 20ish and will be shifting like crazy.

They emailed me directly in december when I inquired if they carried 4.56 for the ap2 and replied they didn't and stated the 4.77 would work and give a much more aggressive feel and performance incomparison to the 4.56 or 4.44. The salesman that emailed me recommended 4.77.

Science of speed has a good rep but do your own research as well. The link i posted has a lot of info. Don't want to see you get something and realize later that more research would have yielded a different decisions... trust me many of us have been there hahaha.
Here's another thread from searching:

4.77 is def possible, but it depends on what you are looking for out of the car. Aaron (seoul2k or something) had them and wanted to get rid of them bc driving on the highway lands you in much higher RPMs.

Some say that 4.77s are too much for highway driving. I have 4.77s and love them. Car pulls way way harder. Then again I don't drive the S that often and when i do, it's for weekend pleasure driving, so I'm on local scenic roads and avoid highways for the most part.

I would go with 4.56 FD if your car is a daily driver, and 4.77 if its your weekend cruiser.
