Default Hello Del Val!

Greetings! I have been a member of this board for a couple of weeks, but I never introduced myself in here to my local region. So I'll do that now.

I picked up my S2K about three weeks ago. I am still about 150 miles short of the magical 600 mark, so I have not really pushed the car yet, plus it's been a little cold for the RE050's, but I still love the car. If it's this much fun now, I can't wait until the weather is nice, the top is down, the engine is broken in, woo hoo.

The S is my weekend/fun car. I have a '99 Acura CL as my "beater." My previous fun cars were '03 Boxster, '02 WRX, '99 Miata, '95 Integra GSR. Life is too short to drive boring cars.

I am glad to be a part of this crowd now, and I am looking forward to going on some runs with you folks. Do you ever do any covered bridge runs? We did some with the Miata club, and they were always a blast. I think it would be great for the S2K too.

Anyway, a little about me. I live in Berks County (some awesome S2K roads up here), and I work in Collegeville. I am 33 years old, and live with my 13 year old Golden Retriever. He only gets to ride in the CL.

Well, that's about it. I'll see you all out there. Drive safe.

Well, I haven't been on a covered-bridge run (we've driven through one or two, but that's about it). But if you know (or still have directions for) a good covered-bridge run, go ahead and set one up when the weather gets nice. We're always in for a new places to (or actually to ).

Welcome onboard I'll add you to the Roster Thread and the member list... Add a note to charlie's Chime In thread if you want to be memorialized...

Yes, a covered bridge run up in Berks County would be great in the spring! Dana and Janice here organized one last summer that started near Reading....ran some great roads in Schuylkill and Berks Counties I'm hoping that they do a repeat this year!!!
