Default Issues with handling

I've been noticing an issue with the handling on my S. The steering felt a little bit loose, but I noticed the car pushed left when accelerating and pulled right when decelerating. It's not as noticeable @ lower speeds. Could this be a problem with the suspension? Drivetrain? I haven't hit any hard bumps, and although I do tend to push the car from time to time I have never dumped the clutch/drag raced it. If you have any suggestions or have experienced anything similar, please let me know.

A search would revel that this is most often a tire pressure issue.

to be fair to the OP, the search function on this forum is all but worthless...I can't use it and I'm a search whore and captain of the repost police.

tire pressure probably. if that doesnt work, jack up the front of the car and look around. check for anything bent/broken/loose and make sure to check the nuts and bolts and the sway bar as well.

i am sure nothing is broken on your car, just a heads up.

good luck, and let us know

You need an alignment my friend. Loose steering is a noticable sign of the alignment going out of place on the s2000. Fill your tires with air first though before you spend alignment money.

I did check the tire pressure. It was about 2 lbs lower on the left rear tire, but there was no noticeable change. I also checked the steering coupler (both of these I found with a search). I'm scheduled to have the alignment checked out on Sat. I spun out in March and bounced the back end off an embankment (luckily only @ about 45 mph). There haven't been any alignment issues since then, but I do drive it on PA roads everyday!
