Default need help

Secondary O2 sensor took a crap and i didn't know why until i went to have the new one put in. The metal inside the cat shifted back and cut off the top of the sensor, so my new one won't go in. The mechanic wants 150 to gut the cat but i don't have the money b/c of paying for a wedding. I was wondering if anyone had an extra cat that they could give up or sell for a cheap price. I'll come pick it up pretty much wherever you are because my car needs to be inspected by the end of the month.
Thanks,
Cliff

Just so you know, a new factory cat probably goes for $300-500. Most good aftermarket ones are around $250-300. And some "high-flow" (read don't do anything) can be had for $100.
