Default Repair Help

Looking for a reputable Honda dealer that people havent had problems with in Central New Jersey. I have been recently going to Open Road Honda in Edison with a problem I soon found out they didnt do things properly.

If you have any suggestions for good repair shops in Central or South Jersey I would appreciate any help.

Thanks.

I swerved to avoid a deer and ended up running over a high curb causing damage to my rims, tires, etc. Long story short the driver's side front of my car shakes/vibrates at speeds as low as 45mph. Ive been going to Open Road Honda in Edison where I bought the car and when I went to get it fixed they did some work but put the tire backward (uni-directional) causing more problems so I have no desire to even talk to those guys.

Do you know if anything is still broken and/or bent with any part of the suspension/steering up front?

If you take a few pictures and post them up (if you find anything) that would help us to determine what the problem might be.

Also, is the rim bent? was it replaced? any info on what was damaged and what was fixed would help also.

Good luck!!

sorry for the delay:

Just after the accident I went to Goodyear and here were the issues they listed:
a. Driver's Rim Bent --> Rim Replaced
b. all 4 tires damaged --> replaced
c. New Valve system
d. wheel balance
e. steerting wheel was crooked

I later went to Open Road Honda in Edison stating:
a. loose feeling in steering
b. grinding noise heard (especially on curves)- esp right turns
c. car shakes at 70mph
d. 40mph L/R tire - hear grinding noise
THEY FOUND:
a. L/F rim damaged --> replaced
b. Replaced hub and bearing too

Went 6 months later to Open Road in Edison
a. creaking noise from left front (while turning/going over speed bumps, etc) --> they replaced the whole L/F Strut Unit
b. Vibration from L/F at 65mph+ --> performed a high speed balance on all 4 tires
c. Performed front and rear wheel alignment, along with all suspension adjustments

Since then the car still vibrates at those speeds. They also mounted one of the tires backwards during the last repair

I've used Honda of Princeton for over 5 years now. While I've had little things not go completely right, for the most part have been very happy with the service there. I will say I've had nothing as severe as what you describe at all, and most of my work has been routing maintenance.

They are on Rt 206, just North of Princeton in the Rocky Hill area.
