It just comes like that? Don't they have engine covers?

Aww, cute little golf!
I have an EVOMS intake. It requires you to remove the engine cover completely because the oem intake is apart of the engine cover

looks like you don't have to do anything, it already came turboed from the factory...what fun is that??
Kinda like what Frank said. 300hp is easy achieved not to mention 300tq by spending under 2K. Best part is maximum hp+tq are hit at a very low RPM range.

It looks like the covers are already off and you put an intake on, the little 2 liter responds very well to mods. Did you go with the DSG or 6 speed manual?
6 Speed. Everyone that buys the DSG ends up trading it in for a manual in the long run from what I been reading.

I know what your saying. I have a few dislikes with it already.

-Trunk is too small. I could fit my golf clubs in the S but not in my GTI?
-It sits really high off the ground. Need to be lowered about 2 inches all around but handles well.
-Not too sold on the honeycomb grill
-It took me forever to wash and I'm guessing because the moldings on the doors make it a little difficult to clean.
