Stock S2000's will beat a stock GTI. The problem is a stock "looking" GTI can be 300whp without looking/sounding modified. It's hard to make a S2000 300whp without it looking heavily modified.
any car can be made to LOOK stock. it just depends on how much time/money you want to spend.

are they HDR pics?
i think. unfortunately im not much of a pho-tog, so i'm not really sure what it is. i know he does some nasty stuff with a camera though.

i do recall he was able to get pretty good gains off of minor upgrades, but it came to a point where the turbo (which is tiny) needed to be swapped to make real power.

now, IMO he has an issue with all that torque (its like a pickup truck!) that he will need some suspension upgrades to get it to the ground. i've also looked at a bunch of GTI dynos, and they look odd. they make gobbs of torque/ hp quick, then it falls when you approach redline. not ideal for a road course/ track, IMO.

New R32's look great, IMO. I may have to research those when it's time to depart with the S.

Its a lot for 250hp! It only comes in DSG for the 08 models FTL! It should be about 29K-31K. When I was getting my car there was 2 of them for 34K

Yes those are hdr with a wide angle lense. I'm guessing 5 exposures or more each. The art is in the blending of levels, very nicely done creating and almost cartoony affect on the car.
