Default These short shifters are...

taking a bit to get used to. I'm used to throwing the shifter about a half foot in my 7 vert and I keep missing gears or hitting the wrong gear in my S.

Playing around with a turbo'd Neon last night, had him the whole time even after shifting from third back into second...guess it just take a bit more practice.

After you get used to it, you won't even know you're doing it. It'll just be second nature.

I had to move my RX7 today to move my El Camino out of the garage so I could remove the body and I put that thing in gear and thought it was going into the dash.

My 944 had a short shift kit on it that reduced the front to back throw movement down to 2 inches at the knob. Now THAT was a weird thing to shift.
