Ugliest and prettiest convertable at the same time
... Not sure how I didn't notice this before ... but that top is utterly ridiculous.
Look carefully at the pics, there will be a small hard piece that clamps onto the windshield frame (probably with similar hooking to our car), but then look carefully at the profile and rear three quarter views.
The top then stretches and rests on the roll bars, and then literally hooks into the eye loops that is on the trunk. That's why it looks so funky, it has NO FRAME.

Edit: Just noticed also, when you look at the profile, the windows wont actually meet the roof like in our car, they will simply go up behind the edge, underneath the roof. If you're lucky it may press up against the top to give some sort of seal, but honestly it doesn't look like the back will be totally sealed around the wind blocker anyway.
No wonder it's so light, it's like stripping out our soft top, and then putting a tarp with some bungee cords in the trunk and calling that the roof.
Definitely a car meant only for Cali, or as a second sunny day only car that you wouldn't want to take on trips even.

Ugh, everybody keeps saying the same stuff about this car and not getting it. Forget the top. It doesn't exist for any functional purpose. It's a sunshade basically... I dunno if you want to park the car and not have the seats get really hot. Pure toy, the way it should be. I'd probably just gut the top anyway.
