Like the Segway, eh?
The advertisement campaign has been great so far, building lots of buzz - but good ads don't make a good movie. If the writing sucks, or the acting sucks, or the cinematography sucks, then the movie will suck. Doesn't really matter what's destroying the city - the Russians, Godzilla, space aliens, blah blah blah. The "twist" has been done before in the Blair Witch Project - the movie is being presented as if it were entirely filmed with a hand-held camera by the people in the story. Perhaps it will pander to the YoutTube raised kids like One Missed Call does to today's cellphone kids. On the other hand, perhaps it'll be immersive, gripping cinema magic like the documentary-like Children of Men (IMO.)

Who knows, but for now I'm reserving judgment and just because they haven't show us what's destroying the city yet isn't any cause to get excited.

Good trailers but I'm worried. Most of the time, trailers are better than the movie.

I will probably have to go see it (wife) I just don't know though - it looks like "Blair Witch Project" all over again, but sci-fi. Trailer was awesome though...

It will prolly suck.

The trailer did look like Blair Witch but if you really think about it, had no substance. I can make anything look dramatic with some shaky camera with fade in and out and some rumbling scared people.

I bet it's just another government project code name that looks like the zombies from the wil smith movie. wooptie doo

I am interested. Looks like a monster movie but as if it was shot by amature videographers.

Is it amateur or is it the camera guy from bourne identity?

I will never enjoy movies where they purposely remove image stabilization to make the audience feel in the center of what is going on the screen.
