Just saw an advanced screening of it. It was fun! A lot of video camera perspective running through the streets, etc. - if you get motion sickness easily, may not be for you.

One thing, it is a SHORT movie: running time is only 84 minutes w/ credits.

The entire film is from the perspective of the camera - I personlly like the technique, others may feel otherwise.

Oh, I would be remiss if I didn't mention how hot the 2 female leads are... wow.
Feel free to spoil it...please.

What's it about?? What attacks NYC with such force that Ms. Liberty's head goes flying down a street??

Aliens?
Zombies?
Drama Llamas?

Ecstacy induced Terrorists?

Ok...you can tell I'm reaching.

There better be a lot of substance packed into those 84 minutes then. I'm skeptical of movies that perpetrate to have any sense of plot that are less than an hour and 45.

84 min? Wow. I still dont know what to think about jj abrams, i love lost but wow did mi:3 suck. i will see it, even though blair witch gave me motion sickness. the camera jumpiness in the bournes didnt bother me, it was the retarded editing, a new camera angle every 3 seconds.

POTENTIAL SPOILER:

If you're into happy endings with everything tied up with a nice little bow - not for you. As I mentioned, the entire movie is from the point of view from a single video camera. They NEVER deviate from that POV, so some may feel cheated. I personally liked the technique. It is a flashlight up at world, as opposed to a floodlight down.

As far as what kind of monster it is - you never really know! Gone is the ubiquitous run-in with a scientist that has been studying the creature for decades. Replace that with 'oh, sh** - i better get the f outta here - Do I really care at the moment the genetic make-up of that thing that wants to f-ing eat me?!'

The movie's far from perfect - a lot of the people I talked to hated it for the reasons I mentioned. You can poke a lot of holes in it. But it was fun.

And.. as I mentioned:

Jessica Lucas

&

Odette Yustman

Oh - A bit of warning - you WILL get fed up with the word 'Rob'...

^^So you never get to see what it looks like? I was on another forum that had huge thread just for this movie. There were 2 pictures posted of what it possibly was....One was a huge whale looking monster and the other was just horrid, had no arms, 2 legs and massive teeth. Looked like Godzilla after doing crack and losing it's arms.
