He died with a Falafel in his hand
If you are into quirky Australian movies (such as The Dish and The Castle) check out 'He died with a falafel in his hand. Very funny.

G'Day Aus...
We saw both The Dish and The Castle...Dish didn't do much for us, but we thought The Castle was hilarious. Now when we really like something, we'll say "That's going straight to the pool room!"
I'll see if they carry your Falafel movie on netflix.com...great DVD rental web site here in the States.

Let me know how you go with Falafel. Another Australian movie (by some of the team from The Castle and The Dish) that got great reviews is out this week on DVD. It's called 'Lantana'. I'll give a review shortly.

Yeah, I saw it on telly last night. A bit dry I guess.
I think Falafel might be a bit strange for the non-Aus audience too.Mind you the opening scene with the cane toads and 1 Wood should get alaugh out of everyone except the animal liberationist and the cane toads.
Lantana comes out this week.

Only a North Queenslander can appreciate the one wood special with a bufo marinus
Actually, although I've never done it (don't like killing any critter), I'm pretty sure a three wood would be more appropriate

"Lantana" is already out here in the States, and is getting a lot of press. I have it on my list of things to see.
We watched "The Castle" at home on DVD, and among the special features was English sub-titles for the hearing impaired. We put it on so we could catch all the Aussie slang.
I know, I know -- hopeless Yanks
