Default Knight and Day

Not sure if this was discussed before. Worth not seeing unless you absolutely must see a romantic spy spoof with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.

Too long, a waste of talent, so so action....no plot to speak of...0 outta 10 cause two top stars alone do not a good film make.

So forgetaboutit...

I have yet to discover a movie that you enjoyed watching.

Can you please list some of your favorites?

Cool...good list!

But given that list, I'm shocked you put this particular movie as a 0/10.

I really enjoyed the ride "K+D" took me on, and it was EXACTLY the movie it was marketed to be....which goes a long way. As long as it is what I'm promised, I can like a movie for a lot of different reasons.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a 0/10...even "Transformers" and "The Happening" are like .5/10 because they had either hot women or were so laughably bad they had SOME entertainment value.

i didn't like it either. it seemed way too fake and campy for me. tried too hard to be smart and funny, and in the end just didn't work.

however...i also wouldn't give it a 0/10. probably 5/10 or something. i think i would even give skyline a .5/10...but just for the stealth bomber scene. otherwise it would be 0/10.

yeah, skyline is a miss for sure, excellent special effects do not a good film make in my book...back to k&d....i just saw it as a failure, sure the cast was cool, some of the stunts were of interest...but the banter, the writing in general and the direction also sucked , just good stars do not a good film make for me as well....

fortuneately we can all have our opinions, agree on some and not on others...i have no patience for a poorly executed film...take Dreamcatcher for example....or maximum overdrive...or...etc...

gotta have the right ingretients...cast, direction, story, and the rest...big or small budget, foreign or american, old or new...looking over just some of my favorites i will stand by that value on all of them...
