This is a film all about losers....you know those folks who usually occupy the second banana in a film....a former loser cop becomes a reluctant private eye after a series of unusual things happen. The film starts off slowly, seems to be a low budget job that will go no place fast, then all of a sudden there is action and a real story. Nobody you know is in this, well maybe robert forester, but that's about it. It's well cast, not well written or acted, the action takes a while to build up.The main character drives a tricked out old nova or pontiac, flat black paint, racing slicks, 4 speed on the floor, tachometer stuck on top of the dash, it's a bomb, and jacked up in the rear so it can fishtail. I give this a 1 outta 10 cause it somehow became important to see how this ended, and that's the best part.
