I'm late to the party and all Fontana Village has left are the larger more expensive rooms. Anyone have a room with an extra bed they are willing to share?

Wow, nobody wants to split the cost of the room? How about this, anyone have space for an air mattress on the foot of their room?

Ended up booking a room at a hotel in Robbinsville. Not the event hotel but since all the cheap rooms were booked in Fontana Village, I figure Robbinsville was the next best place.

However, I put my name on the wait list at the Fontana Village lodge and if anyone knows of a cancellation at the lodge please send me a PM and I'll change to the event hotel.

Call Fontana and ask for Lacey. Tell her you're with the S2000 group; I think one of the regular lodge rooms opened up. Not sure but ask her.

Thanks again Sheila, a room did open up at Fontana Lodge, a little more expensive than the Microtel Inn but now I have a confirmed reservation at the event hotel.

Just got a call from Lacey and she upgraded me to a Cabana room with a king bed at no extra charge! Guess they needed the interior room with the two beds for someone else. Thanks again guys!
