For some strange reason they were quite a few traffic violations this year. Pretty sure everyone went home safe (not a safety meeting) How many on the dragon? Or headed to the event or heading back home. Would like to know your story.

First ticket in 6 events. 57 in a 30, but trooper wrote it for 54 in a 40. Guy was cool about it, not the sterotypical DB with badge on a power-trip. Just north of the "gravel" lot after the group photo. Only reason it was a 30 zone was the repaving work, even though the work was complete where I was popped. No cones, people, equipment; nothing. Oh well. Time to invest in a radar detector.

This. My V1 has saved me many times over its purchase price through the years. Back when I traveled for work, I called it my time machine

Also, FWIW I generally don't go fast at all until I'm past the overlook on my way up. They always seem much more concentrated in that first section.

52 in a 30. I may have been going faster. It was a trooper at mile marker 4. It's my first for any trip to the gap.

What is this hidden display? I'm moving to VA in a few months and radar detectors are illegal. A hidden display would be great!
