I had a friend years ago that inflated her tires once based on look. When someone checked it later they were in the 60s. Lucky for her, tires will put up with quite a bit more than their published limits. No doubt it was almost a really bad situation though.

Maximum tire pressure listed on the tire is always figured cold, it tends to go up by 4 psi on average when hot (except when Fluky is driving lol ) , a maximum tire pressure listed as 40 psi cold will handle at least 44 hot, if not more.

Looks like the preference is for 32 psi , same as the recommended psi by Honda. Thanks for the replies.
