Has anyone here had an engine failure due to the oil bolt?

If so can you please post your experiences so that we can compare to some of the experiences we have been having in North America.

I don't think you'll be able to derive a lot of valid statistical data from answers to that question.

I suspect that the european owners that frequent this site are way less than 1% of the total European owner population. So unless the failure rate was over 1 car every 100 ( a huge amount) you are not likely to see many blown motors here.

I personally know of 2 engine failures in Portugal, no members, and the dealer attributed it to low oil conditions, although Honda replaced the engines, no questions asked.
