April 2002 Dragon Run In Alco Tennessee

Hello to all you brave S2000 drivers. I dod 1500 miles in 2 1/2 days and had a very sore back and but-IT AS A LOT OF FUN!!!
I think Alco Tennessee is about 800 miles from Sarasota. I plan on leaving very early Thursday morning to beat rush hour in Atlanta and arrive in Alco latge afternoon or early evening.
I think I will leave Alco Sunday during the day, stop on the way home somewhere in mid to south Georgia and be home on Monday.
Let's discuss, we have some time to plan.
I will go to Auto Club in the next day or two and get exact distance, etc.

WDavis - Just buy a motorhome with a big trailer and you can put both our cars on for the drive up from Orlando. Then it will be no problem, let me know what time to meet you to load the car on

make sure you get a carhauler with room for mine too

wonder what it would cost if we all went together and had a carhauler ship the cars?
There are LOTS of carhaulers running north/south from the auctions here. If we rented the whole thing and loaded it with S2Ks, hmmmmm
then just the prob of getting US there and back.......
just a random thought.

Unfortunately, I missed out last year, but would like to join in with the Florida group going North this April- leaving on Thurs sounds good to me- the "old bod" ain't what it used to be! I live in DeLand and can meet South of Gainesville at the rest stop on I-75, or any other site along the way-
