Bowflex
It's mostly diet. I have been working out for about 6 months now 5-6 days a week. I have went down from a 36-32 inch waste. You have to eat 6 smalls meals a day and not take in alot of sugar. The Bowflex is nice but i like the gym myself
Water, water, water too.
I think it was a Mayo Clinic report that I read early last year that said over 80% of the time people think they are hungry they are actually dehydrated. Feb '08, I started drinking 1.5 liters of water/day, gym 4x/week, cardio 3x/week, small meals, avoid fast food (no fries if I had to), etc. Dropped 18 lbs in about 2 months, started wearing size 29 or 30 pants, and Sandy loved the abs and stuff by the pool. Of course, I promptly got way off track after messing up my shoulders last Sept/Oct (that's what I get for hanging out with a couple big dudes at the gym in college a lifetime ago) and haven't done crap since but at least I've kept my weight close to where it was.
Make it a habit Sorta and you'll do great. All the best to you. Heck, you've "sorta" inspired me to set the alarm clock for Monday already. Thanks dude. BTW we have a Smith Press Cage with a peck deck, various pullys (up and down), etc., an adjustable bench, stack of dumbells, about 300 lbs worth of plates, and an eliptical in the house....I have NO excuse not to do something so seriously....Thank You...I'm there Monday morning!!!!!
"And we're here to pump you up!!!" SNL reference.

Thanks guys. I got up early today to get my first workout in. Think I'm going to double up on my reps and go for toning / fat burning first. Then I'll hit the supplements and bulk up a bit.
On a side note my Dr. putme on Lexipro to help with focus and overall mood. It seems to be doing the trick as I feel so goal oriented right now it's almost become and obsession.

hmmmm,
the Bowflex is a great Machine
Well now I feel inspired, I to have a bowlfex, the Bowflex dumbbells (no wise cracks neccesary) and a recumbent stationary bike.
I will be working out first thing Monday morning.
thanks for the kickstart

Good luck and you just took the first step. I needed a lifestyle change to increase the chances of seeing 60. I stopped smoking about two and a half years ago and around the same time bought a Bowflex Ultimate II from Craigs List and then the Blowflex Tread Climber also from Craigs List. I exchanged one habit for another but this one is better for me. I have been using the Ultimate II three days a week and the Tread Climber (30 minutes) or riding my bicycle (16.5 miles) everyday. I have been doing this for about the last 2.5 years. I have not lost any weight (my fault) but it has shifted around and I just hit 9,200 on the bicycle. I turned 50 this month and feel great. The trick is don't give up and get in to a routine.
Good job guys i to am starting to get back into shape i use to be 160 solid went to the gym every day. Than i just stoped now i way 140. My goal is to get back up to 150 and still be able to run fast as well
