Calling on Florida COs

I know everyone is starting to get frustrated... however a few of us COs have been workingon making this happen and have been annoying vendors so that we can make this as low cost as possible.
Until we can finalize a budget any info we give you will only be speculation.
Time frame is still the same... venue and activity are still in the planning stages.
We do appreciate everyone's interest and support!

Well ... we are discussing some details of a meet in the Community Organizer forum.
And, there was no way we'd have anything ready to go within less than 2 months. Especially with SPGP and the Dragon coming up. That's taking up a good bit of time and energy from both CO's and members.
I would say that Orlando is an area that tends to offer the most in both centralized location and opportunities for entertainment and venues. I'm trying to get together some ideas and pricing from a few places now. Once I have something more concrete I'll be happy to share and will need feedback from everyone.
I also know Leo Getz is also working on this as much as he can as well. He's a pro at this kind of thing.
However, if the 'mood' on this subject doesn't stay positive then it will never be successful. We have a lot of members, guests, and enthusiasts who 'lurk' on these forums. I've already chatted with one and they were already turned off by even the simplest suggestion of 'drama'. So, please, let's keep this upbeat.

Well, I'm upbeat. 
Wow...two years since the last one. I'd love to fly down for another one if you guys work it out. Putting together a meet is not easy, even if you've done it a few times. My sis lives in Melbourne, so if it's around Orlando, that would work well for me.
