Doing 60k service myself
Hey guys and gals. I needed your opinion on the fluids and the amounts i will be using to perform this easy task. I would rather do it myself then spend 450.00 at the local honda dealer.
Oil Change- 4 quarts of Mobil 1 Synthetic 10w-30
Oil Filter- Honda oem part# 15400-pcx-004.
Transmission fluid change- 2 quarts of Honda Manual Transmission fluid.
Rear Differential Change- 1 quart of Mobil 1 75w-90.
Cabin filter pollen filter.
Does everything look correct? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm going to be doing the 60k service myself too (bought the car with 53k and am at 58k now).
I've read the car takes between 5-6 quarts of oil. I'm just going to follow the diy instructions in the "under the hood" forum.
Good luck!

Mine seems to land right at 5.2 qts, but yeah, buy 6. I'd also consider silicone treating all your underbody rubber boots, bushings, and guards, I think RoadRage has a good DIY in the UTH section.
I also Shin-etsu silicone grease all my topside seals and gaskets (doors, top, hood, trunk every 30K miles.
Lots of people prefer the LE-607 straight 90 wt for the diff. I run the 75-90 mobil 1 just because it's easy to find, and I change it every 15K or so. but you really don't need a multigrade here in FL and a straight 90 is what Honda recommends.
