Last night I got a call I really wasn't expecting so soon. If I wanted to pick up an Elise this week a customer backed out on their car and I could take it if I wanted to. Well I want an Elise badly and it's the car I really wanted when I got the S2000 but I had to turn it down. Damn it! I'm just not ready to buy yet. Oh well, maybe I'll be ready the next time one's available.

 

That's crazy that one was available this quick, good luck with it and let us know when you get one so we can all check it out

I saw the pictures of it and it looked great. I would have probably been there if I'd known the Elise was going to be there. Crazy, but the cheapest car that was there is the one I want.

Less than a month ago while we were in CA. we offered to do a Lotus dealer a favor. Later told him that we would someday like to buy an Elise when one came available. We really didn't think we would be moved to the top of the list so quickly. We didn't even give them a deposit. I guess it pays to try to help people out.

I'll sure let everyone know when I finally get one. I have no idea when that'll be.

 

I'd love to see it CG. It's on my very short list of new cars that I'd want to own.

 

I saw a dark blue one at a local autocross a couple of weeks ago. It's a very appealing car! I'm sure that you'll enjoy it when the right moment arrives.

 

The interior is so different, it's hard to describe. Let's just say if you'd enjoy a true sports car with no interior amenities whatsoever, you'd love this car! No floor mats, no door covering.
